Song of the Mountains Festival and Smyth Celebration

Song of the Mountains Festival and Smyth County Celebration invites you to a bluegrass & old time music festival at the Davis Valley Winery.

The 2008 festival lineup includes three days of top name bands such as Goose Greek Symphony, Rhonda Vincent, Jesse McReynolds, Larry Sparks, Lou Reid, & Carolina, Special Ed & Shortbus and others.

Enjoy the music of the southern Appalachians and the breathtaking views and scenery at the Davis Valley Winery. Rough camping available. Plenty of good food available on site and motel and hotel accomodations close by.

Also the towns of Rural Retreat, Chilhowie, Saltville, & Marion will have celebrations earlier in the week as part of the festival!
