The stately H.L. Bonham Regional Development and Tourism Center 
serves as the headquarters of tourism promotion and community development
in Smyth County and the Southwest Virginia region. In addition to
maps and attraction information of tourist interest across the state,
the center proudly displays local history of Smyth County and the
Towns of Marion, Saltville and Chilhowie and the Bonham family. Special
events at the center include Halloween Ghost Story Telling, a Christmas
Arts and Crafts Sale, and more.
